A Good Way To Treat Arthritis: Arthritis Diet

One way to ease your Arthritis Pain and discomfort is by watching your diet. A so called, arthritis diet can be helpful in treating arthritis pains and symptoms. Some people are claiming that foods from the nightshade family, such as tomatoes, green peppers, eggplant and potatoes, can stop and prevent arthritis from developing. Of course the best arthritis diet for you would be a regular well balanced diet recommend by your physician accompanied by vitamins and other supplements. It is hard to recognize that one specific diet will help everyone with their arthritis problems.

You should be aware of what not to eat also. Doctors say some forms of arthritis develop from overindulgence in drugs, alcohol, and red meat. Surprisingly, about 5% of Rheumatoid arthritis patients happen to experience more severe symptoms after drinking milk. So in other words, too much milk could be bad for you, especially if you have a low tolerance for lactose products.

The Arthritis Foundation offers these tips for a healthy arthritis diet: First, you have to lose weight if you are obese. Just remember that every extra pound of body weight leads to four times the stress on your knees!! Second, take calcium regularly by drinking milk, yogurt, broccoli, and calcium supplements. Finally, do regular, steady exercises everyday to keep your bones and muscles strong.
